Cygnus Automotive’s sister company, Cygnus Taximeter Rentals, was formed in 1992. We now have the largest independent rental database operating in London, with in excess of 6200 rental contacts.

The success of our London operation is a clear demonstration of the quality and reliability of our Taximeters. This, combined with our second to none service back up, has proved a winning formula.

“5000 TARIFF CHANGES CREATES A NEW LONDON RECORD”

Cygnus Taximeter Rentals carried out just over 5000 tariff changes over the weekend 5th & 6th April 03. As in previous years, the change took place at the Access Solutions site on Eagle Wharf Road, Islington.

42 staff on site produced the most efficient tariff change ever carried out in London. Supporting Cygnus’ staff from Cannock - the home of the manufacturing company, were 6 employees from Mann & Overton, plus friends and family, all part of our usual team.

The whole team’s effort created an average waiting time of less than five minutes!

All drivers keeping to their allocated appointment times were entered into Cygnus’s free prize draw.

Congratulations go to the first name drawn out, Mr Peter Banks of Milton Keynes, who wins £300 worth of Thomas Cook Holiday Vouchers. 2nd Prize goes to Mr James Reynolds of South Ockendon, who wins 2 years free meter rental, and the 3rd Prize, £100 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers goes to Mr Bryan Pinnock of Southgate. All winners will be notified by post.
